The Victoria Magic Circle is proud to host the Pacific Coast Association of Magicians’ annual convention for 2006 in the beautiful garden city of Victoria, British Columbia, and we invite you to come join in the fun!
PCAM starts on the evening of August 9th and wraps up late morning on August 13th/06. Our hotel headquarters is the Harbour Towers Hotel and Suites, located near Victoria’s famous Inner Harbour, a short walk from almost everything you will want to do in Victoria.
Bring your family and friends and extend your stay so that you can fully enjoy all that Victoria has to offer. The Harbour Towers Hotel has special room rates for not only the period of PCAM but for 3 days before and 3 days after. Victoria is surrounded by natural beauty, is relatively traffic-free, and offers many indoor and outdoor activities for all to enjoy. For example, if you come early you could take in the world famous ‘Symphony Splash’ happening August 6th -- this outdoor concert, complete with fireworks, is right in the Inner Harbour, just two minute’s walk from the Hotel.
PCAM 2006 is limited to 225 registrants. The beauty of our smaller convention is that we are featuring a single, streamlined schedule of events that ensures attendees will not miss any activities, and nobody will get ‘lost in the crowd’. PCAM is family-friendly and we welcome magicians of all ages to partake in what we have to offer ! You can look forward to connecting and reconnecting with new and old friends alike, while taking in some seven lectures, contests, two great evening shows, fun activites, and nightly ‘Hospitality Suites’.
