Magic magazines are specialized newspapers testinated to a specialized audience. They talk about
news of magic world and give some reports of magic conventions, conferences and shows. Interesting articles, often written by
famous magicians, tackle general themes regarding actuality.
You will also find critics of latest magic books, latest releases of video and elements on history of magic. In those magazines, some magicians
are used to explain magic "moves" and "manipulations", but the words used to do that are not explained as the author estimate that you
already know the basis.
Some review have a special heading for "beginners" which allow the layman to learn basic trick and to start using magic vocabulary.
As for any common magazine, it is possible either to subscribe or to buy them one by one.
English magazines are references for magic lovers who are looking for up to date information on magic world. There quality is very good
and provide lots of tricks, ideas, biographies and relevant articles. One drawback however : they often are full of publicity (sometimes 1 page out of 2), but ratio quality/price makes us forgive that easily.

The competitor of the famous Magic Magazine, greatly managed by Richard Kaufman, the editor from New-York.
As for Magic, the content and the quality of this magazine make it is a reference.
However tricks described are slightly more technical and articles a bit more subjectives. A must-have for those
who want to travel further in the world of magic.

The official revue of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM)
is the magic magazine the most distributed in the world!
Members of IBM are all over the world and receive the revue!
Few tricks and articles are included, but the magazine is mainly focussing on reports from various clubs which are all over the world.
A huge work to regroup all productions of the magazines between 1923 and 1999 has been made and it requires not less than 3 CD rom.

Here is the border line magazine made in USA, known for its articles and intervention
politically incorrect (it's the least we can say)!
Tony Miller, chief editor, and his wife Rose managed to become a reference in international
magic landscape without following the convention.
Even if they were not encouraged at the beginning, they now meet a real success.
Original tricks, often ahead of their time, funny articles and reports about unknown artists likely
to be famous.
Miller seems to have the skill to discover magicians who get success.
